Southwater Parish Council Joins CPRE

Southwater Parish Council is pleased to announce that it has become a member of CPRE, the countryside charity. CPRE works to promote, enhance and protect the countryside, supporting sustainable development while helping communities shape the places where they live.

The membership will strengthen the Council's work across a number of areas, including planning and development matters, consultation on planning applications, and the ongoing implementation of the Joint Shipley & Southwater Neighbourhood Plan. It also aligns closely with our Climate Action Plan and biodiversity objectives, supporting our commitment to protecting and enhancing Southwater's natural environment for current and future generations.
