Southwater Parish Council and the Neighbourhood Wardens are pleased to introduce the Memory Café Southwater. Starting on Thursday 1 October 2026, the café will take place on the first Thursday of every month from 2:30pm to 4:00pm at the Community Room, Beeson House.

Join us on Sunday 4th of October 2026, from 12pm to 4pm, at Southwater Skate Park, Ben's Field, Stakers Lane, for an action-packed afternoon of wheels, tricks and big-air moves! It is a FREE ENTRY event.

Southwater Parish Council can confirm that the sale of Easteds Barn completed on 9 September 2026, following the exercise of the purchase option contained within the existing long-term lease associated with the Little Barn Owls Nursery Group.

Southwater Parish Council has published the Invitation to Tender for the Tree Survey 2026 Identified Works Contract on the Government's Contracts Finder website. The tender relates to works identified following the independent tree survey carried out across the Parish's open spaces and woodland areas in July 2026.

Horsham District Council has launched the Stage 2 consultation of its District-wide Community Governance Review, giving residents another opportunity to comment on proposed changes to parish governance arrangements.

Over the past couple of months, the Parish Council has been carrying out a range of maintenance and improvement works across the village, from repairing play equipment and replacing signage to improving drainage and sprucing up some of Southwater’s best-known landmarks.
