Southwater Parish Council is pleased to announce that the Council has unanimously voted to extend the contract of our Neighbourhood Wardens.

This makes Southwater the first Town or Parish Council in both East and West Sussex to achieve Gold status.

West Sussex County Council has announced a temporary overnight closure of Crawley Road in North Horsham.

Horsham District Council’s draft Annual Plan is now open for consultation. The Council is inviting feedback on the draft of its new Annual Plan for 2026/27 and is encouraging as many residents and businesses as possible to share their views.

As part of ongoing Cost of Living support and the Household Support Fund (HSF7), West Sussex Libraries will be offering free Essential Toiletries Kits and free Essential Period Product Packs for residents to collect.

Current and Upcoming Road works in Southwater, beginning of November and early December 2025.

There is a Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme in West Sussex, offering free holiday clubs for children who receive benefits-related free school meals. Clubs run for a week over Christmas.

West Sussex County Council is inviting feedback on proposals to improve two key routes in Horsham, aiming to make everyday journeys safer, quicker and more sustainable.   The proposals focus on Rusper Road (between the town centre and Mowbray) and Guildford Road (between the town centre and Broadbridge Heath), both vital routes for accessing schools, workplaces and local services.
