Please read below for the current and upcoming roadworks in and around Southwater in July.

• Tower Hill 27 July - 31 July 24hr/day road closures for new water connection works. Works outside & opposite property Stoneleigh and The Granary 250 metres south of the junction with Salisbury Road for 50 metres.
  

• Shipley Road 27 July - 28 July 3-way traffic lights to facilitate tree surgery on Shipley Road at the junction of Foxfield Cottages
  

• Ash Road 23 July - 27 July Utility repair and maintenance work by Openreach. Traffic control (stop/go boards) in operation.
  

• Worthing Road (near Southwater Junior Academy) 23 July - 27 July Utility repair and maintenance work by Southern Water. Some carriageway incursion.
  

• Southwater Street 23 July - 24 July Repair and maintenance work by Virgin Media. Traffic control (two-way signals) in operation
  

• Timbermill 21 July - 23 July Utility repair and maintenance work by Openreach. Traffic control (stop/go boards) in operation.
  

• Anvil Close to Timber Mill 21 July - 23 July Utility repair and maintenance work by Openreach. Some carriageway incursion.
  

• College Road 9 July - 13 July Utility repair and maintenance work by Southern Water. Some carriageway incursion.
  

• Worthing Road 9 July - 13 July Utility repair and maintenance work by Southern Water. Some carriageway incursion.
  

• A24 Worthing Road (from Washington Roundabout northbound) 2 July - 7 July Northbound carriageway only.

  Overnight closure from 20:00 until 05:00 to carry out carriageway patching works. Works expected to be completed in 2 days.

• Mill Straight 29 June - 09:00 - 15:30 only Removal of a tree for Horsham District Council requested by West Sussex County Council.
  

• Cedar Drive 29 June - 1 July Utility repair and maintenance work by Southern Water. Some carriageway incursion.
  

• Timber Mill 29 June - 1 July Utility Asset works by Openreach. Traffic control(stop/slow paddles) will be in place.
  

• Christ's Hospital 3 Jun - 3 July Christs Hospital School, Christs Hospital Road, Horsham S278 MWA - To construct a new footway, highway verge, highway boundary and kerb to tie in with the existing.
