Residents in Southwater North Ward voted in the Parish Councillor election on Thursday 6 August 2026. Rosanna-Marie Hobson was duly elected.

Residents attended a Parish Meeting, also known as a meeting of electors, on 21 July 2026 to discuss The Ghyll field and the approved planning application for a 3G football pitch.
