Southwater Remembrance Sunday

Residents are invited to join the annual Remembrance Sunday Service on Sunday 8 November 2026 at the War Memorial.

The service will begin at 10.50am, with the Last Post played at 10.58am, followed by the two-minute silence at 11.00am. The Reveille will sound at 11.02am, and wreaths will be laid afterwards. The service is expected to conclude at approximately 11.30am.

Please be aware that road closures will be in place around the War Memorial area, and roads will reopen at 12.00pm.

This annual event provides an opportunity for residents to come together to remember and honour the servicemen and women who have given their lives in conflicts past and present. All are welcome to attend and pay their respects.
