Westons Hill, Itchingfield – Temporary Traffic Restriction

A temporary closure of Westons Hill in Itchingfield has been announced by West Sussex County Council. The prohibition affects the stretch from the junction with Fulfords Road to Itchingfield Road and will be enforced on 29th April 2025 only.

The restriction will be in effect during off-peak hours, from 09:30 to 15:30, and is necessary to facilitate urgent carriageway patching repairs by Volker Highways, acting on behalf of WSCC.

Emergency, residential, and pedestrian access will remain available while the works are in progress. Signage will indicate any alternative routes for general traffic. As with similar notices, the closure could legally continue for up to five days from the start date if conditions require.
