Southwater Parish Council would like to thank all residents who took the time to respond to The Big Southwater Bin Survey. The feedback from over 200 participants has provided valuable insight into how litter, recycling and dog waste bins are used throughout the parish. Respondents identified specific locations where additional bins may be helpful, and highlighted areas where bins may be underused. The survey revealed strong community interest in reducing litter and improving the local environment. A number of residents also expressed concerns about overflowing bins and their impact on the visual appeal of the area. The comments suggest a wide variation in opinion on the placement, type, and frequency of bin usage. These results will inform future considerations regarding bin provision across the parish. We are grateful for the constructive input and the community’s ongoing engagement. Southwater Parish Council remains committed to listening to residents' views as part of our ongoing efforts to support a clean and pleasant environment.
