Temporary Road Closure of Shipley Road, Shipley from 22nd July 2025

West Sussex County Council has announced a temporary road closure of Shipley Road, Shipley CP, in the Horsham District, effective from 22nd July 2025. This closure, made under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, applies to the section of Shipley Road outside Mole Hole.

The emergency closure will remain in place for a maximum of 21 days, with works expected to be completed by 25th July 2025. The closure is necessary to ensure the safety of the public and workforce while BT carries out excavation works to restore a loss of service.

The restriction will operate 24 hours a day. An alternative route will be clearly signposted on site. Access will be maintained for emergency services, residents, and pedestrians within the affected area.
