Temporary Closure of Coltstaple Lane, Southwater – 22nd August 2025

West Sussex County Council has issued a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO) for Coltstaple Lane, Southwater.
The closure will take place on Friday 22nd August 2025, between 08:00 and 18:00, while Openreach carries out essential overhead cabling works.
The road will be closed to all traffic between the junction with Kerves Lane and the junction with Reeds Lane. The closure is necessary to ensure the safety of both the public and the workforce.
An alternative signed route will be in place during the works.
Access will be maintained for residents, pedestrians, and emergency services.
The works are expected to be completed within the day, though the TTRO allows for a maximum of 5 days if required.
