Notice from Horsham District Council (HDC) regarding the Dinosaur Island Play Area in the Southwater

HDC have informed SPC that on Monday 20th February 2023 a contractor will be working in Dinosaur Island Play Area in Southwater Country Park. The aim of the project is to fix the 3 bridges in this play area as sections of these bridges can become unsafe.

HDC’s contractor will be closing one bridge at a time so they can work on them. The play area will NOT be closed and the site will be accessible using the other 2 bridges available at all times. HDC expect for this work to take approximately 2 weeks. Should you have any further queries please contact HDC.
