Last week's games afternoon with a delicious meal at the Village Hall

It's no secret that there are amazing volunteers who work very hard to help the elderly in the village. Last week, one of these small group of lovely people, who run the Games Afternoon at the Village Hall, combined forces with Age UK to make the day a bit more special. AGE UK provided a delicious hot meal for everyone and the attendees could enjoy their usual games after they finished their lunch. Our Neighbourhood Wardens, Bettina and Dom are regularly present at these events to help out and this time our Community Engagement Officer also attended to give a pair of extra hands to help where needed. Everyone seemed to have a great time and new friendships were formed.
