80th VE-Day - Photo Gallery

VE Day, or Victory in Europe Day, marks 8 May 1945, when Germany  surrendered to the Allied forces, bringing an end to the Second World War in Europe. Southwater had an event by the War Memorial on the day to remember those who lost their lives during the war. Thank you for the WI for decorating the War Memorial, prior to the event and for the delicious cakes they handed out after the event.
