The Startups Awards reward and celebrate the best UK business start-ups and represent an opportunity for businesses to gain recognition for the outstanding achievements of the business, team or individual.
There are several award categories open to entry, which include the following:
Angel/VC backed Business of the Year.
Innovative Business of the Year.
Service Business of the Year.
Product of the Year.
Home-based Business of the Year.
Young Entrepreneur of the Year.
Business Plan of the Year.
The overall winner is crowned the Startups Business of the Year.
Applications are invited from businesses less than three years old at the time of entry that are privately owned.
The deadline for receipt of applications is 3 September 2010.
