We want to build and support strong, active and inclusive communities across the Parish to encourage people to take an active part in making decisions, delivering and influencing services across the Parish.
Southwater Community Methodist Church
Southwater Community Methodist Church (SCMC) is a young church, with evangelical Methodist roots, full of people drawn from a variety of church backgrounds or none at all. We are growing, and we have a great vision to grow further still into a community based, family friendly church.
SCMC really want to share and celebrate the great news of God's love in Jesus, which is why we worship right here in our own community! We aim to serve the people of Southwater to the best of our ability in Jesus' name, and so wherever possible we try to work in partnership with other Christians in the village.
SCMC meets together every Sunday at 10.00 am in the hall at Southwater Junior School - we're really blessed by the school for this.
Our minister is the lively and enthusiastic Revd Kath Jones supported by a very capable leadership team, all of whom would be delighted to get to know you.
