We want to build and support strong, active and inclusive communities across the Parish to encourage people to take an active part in making decisions, deliverying and influencing services across the Parish.
Local Businesses
Southwater has a broad mixture of both private and public sector organisations, represented by commercial, retail and not for profit interests. These range in scale from multi nationals to micro businesses. The Parish has two of the largest organisations in the District as well as Oakhurst and Lennox Wood Business Parks and Lintot Square home of many of the local retailers and smaller businesses and the heart of the community.
The village has five pubs, ten restaurants and takeaways, two local supermarkets, beauticians, banking, pharmacy, hairdresser, florists, sports and leisure, post office, health care and a host of others.
The active business community has its own representative groups for those who wish to be involved.
