Economy Group
In the context of the Southwater Action Team by economy we mean the local businesses, traders, retailers and what people do to sustain enterprise in the Parish. The mission of this focus group is to deliver the items in the Action Plan. These are contained in the Plan Results published in May 2009.

If you missed the launch meeting of Southwater’s NEW Business Networking Group, run by Village Networking in conjunction with the Southwater Action Team (SWAT) don't worry! It was a greast success, "we never knew there were so many small businiesses out there in Southwater" they said. www.villagenetworking.biz
Next meeting is Wednesday 5th Janauary 2011 - 5.45-7.00pm at Number 19 Coffee Shop, Lintot Square, Southwater. Feel free to arrive at 5.45pm onwards to get to know each other. The group meets 1st and 3rd Wednesdays.
Village Networking meetings are open to anyone business people living or working within the village and surrounding area and are twice-monthly. The meetings are informal and friendly, but serious about business.
