Our Aims:

We want to build and support strong, active and inclusive communities across the Parish to encourage people to take an active part in making decisions, deliverying and influencing services across the Parish.

About Volunteering

Have you got time on your hands? Can you spare a morning or afternoon a week?

We are looking for additional people to join our Community Police Office Team.

If you are 16 years or over and have a little time to spare, this could be an opportunity to contribute to the village community.

The Community Office is staffed by volunteers during their opening hours. The volunteers assist the Local Police Officers and Police Community Support Officers with day to day support carrying out their duties within an office environment.

You can learn more about what the job involves by reading the job profiles of John Jochimsen and Nancy Brock in the Volunteering section of this site.

If you would like more information about being a local volunteer, then please call into the Community Office for a fact sheet, or alternatively telephone 01403 734417 during office hours and leave your name, address or telephone number. No office experience is necessary as full training will be given.

Our Volunteer Co-ordinator will contact you to discuss the office and volunteer support in further detail.
