Our next evening meeting will be on Wednesday 15th May; Dotted throughout the village are various very old and attractive buildings, holding pride of place among the new developments which have grown up around them. One of these is Wheelwrights in the Worthing Road, home to the Piper family who worked the original forge there (now to be found found in Singleton Open Air Museum). Robert Piper is therefore very well placed to tell you about our village and it’s long history, so if you are new to the area, join us for our evening talk on Wednesday 15th May .
